“We loved this property – I gave it a 4/5 on accuracy of online listing because it was more upscale and elegant than the photos suggest. We took our food and prepared our own meals & the kitchen was more graciously equipped than any place we’ve stayed yet. The cabin is best suited for older children or adult children – due to the 2 king suites being on different floors with a beautiful sweeping staircase leading down to the living area. Hats off to the owners & management for communication and cleanliness. All of the starter packs (dish soap, TP, PT, bathroom soaps, etc.) were greatly appreciated. We look forward to returning.”

Classic Cashiers Cabin
“I spent a very pleasant few days recently at this property in Cashiers. What I like most about this property is that it is centrally located in town making shopping and dining close and convenient. The home itself was above all clean and roomy with a well equipped kitchen and outdoor cooking area. The home is a cozy cabin with ample furnishings to accommodate a family or group of 6 comfortably in the living room or at the dining table, I was very impressed with the manner in which they were able to accomplish this. The setting for the home even though close to town is in a heavily wooded forest where you awaken to the sounds of song birds in the morning. It was a pleasure to enjoy my morning coffee just taking in the beauty and sounds of nature from the homes amply furnished outdoor covered decks. Other notes, circular drive with ample parking, there is a large fire pit with seating around it, a beautifully landscaped flower garden, and lastly, don’t miss finding the bear in the woods during your stay.”

“My husband and I visited the Ridge for a week in October 2019 and had a wonderful time! The house is beautiful both inside and out. First the outside; the views could not be more spectacular with the Smokey Mountains in the background and the most amazing, gorgeous sunsets. The fire pit was so much fun as we sat outside for hours making s’mores and enjoying the beauty of the setting. For the inside, the wood beams throughout and the stone fireplace inspires a rustic chic theme that is so beautiful. The many rooms both upstairs and down are all beautifully furnished, spacious and very comfortable. How great is the second kitchen downstairs for big family dinners! This is a wonderful home to rent for family and friends to enjoy a peaceful and beautiful setting in the mountains of North Carolina!”

The Mama bear and her Wee Baby Bears were so cool to see playing and rummaging for scraps, but that’s normal for these parts of NC! We Also saw a beautiful deer grazing on the grounds! She was able to give us our two requests in 2021, but not the same house in 2020 Fall. She suggested two other houses that were available in the Fall of 2020, and we booked one of those. She spent time with us on the phone and sending us follow up emails. She was very helpful and pleasant, and because of her we have booked for Fall of 2020, and then two more stays in the summer of 2021 and the Fall of 2021. I hope you will recognize her for great customer service that she does for your company!!!”

“Vacation Rental July 25 to August 8 in Sapphire Valley. Property managed by Landmark Vacations, a great choice by the owners of the Back Nine Lane property. We got our keys and welcoming package at the centrally located Cashiers office. All was smooth and the property was all we expected it to be. We had 2 issues that needed attention during our 2 week stay. The staff was easy to contact and handled the problems professionally. When I got home I realized that I had left my granddaughter’s graduation present in the night table drawer. I called Landmark and reached Savannah in the Cashiers office. She said she would contact the cleaning service to get my package and that she would handle the mailing. Everything worked out perfectly. This was the best customer service anyone could hope for! Savannah is a great ambassador for Landmark.”
