Vacation Rental Description

Sunset Cove is a  3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms lakefront home on beautiful Lake Glenville. With 2,200 sq/ft of house and decks on one level there is room for everyone. Nestled in a quiet cove with long lake, mountain and sunset views to enjoy while sitting around a crackling bonfire in your private backyard. This cabin can easily accommodate 8 to 10 guests in a master suite with a king bed, spacious queen bedroom and an oversized bonus bunk room with two full and two twin beds and two large bathrooms. This cabin has a completely renovated kitchen, dining and living room with granite counter tops and new appliances including a washer and dryer. Enjoy outdoor cooking on the open deck with a gas grill or s'mores around a fire pit. It is a short walk to the public boat ramp, dam, Onion falls and 17-mile trail. Direct TV including Direct TV Entertainment Line-Up for this area and free WiFi are included. The home is very secluded and features; a large private pond, light & bright, air conditioned and has paved, easy access from main roads, plenty of parking space for cars and boat trailers, a yard to play in and mountain views over the water. Lake Glenville is the highest elevation lake East of the Mississippi with 26 miles of shoreline. Our climate is very mild almost all year. Sunset Cove is a great location to the shops and restaurants of Cashiers and Glenville, boating, golf, whitewater rafting, hiking, zip line, canoeing, and much more. Sunset Cove is one of the few cabins with very gentle access to the water and boat dock. Sunset Cove is not a shared house – it is the lower level of a two story house. The top level is used solely by the owner and access to the upper level is locked – the upper level will never be occupied for the period that the lower level is made available to rent, ensuring guests' private enjoyment of Sunset Cove.


Your reservation includes a damage protection plan. The damage protection plan is $40, and it covers up to $3,000 in damages. In lieu of purchasing the damage protection plan, guests have the option to choose a refundable security deposit. If you would like to pay a refundable security deposit, please contact us. The security deposit is $3,000 and will be administered subject to the NC Tenant Security Deposit Act.

Because all of our properties are individually owned, when you make a reservation for a specific accommodation we are obligated to keep your reservation for this same home. If you need additional room for more guests that would like to join you on your trip, you are welcome to call any of our vacation consultants at (866) 202-0723 to look at options for a 2nd accommodation that may be nearby your original choice. If you would like to change your choice of home altogether, we must follow the standard cancellation policy outlined in your terms and conditions and start a new reservation for your new choice.
No, we do not. However, we do offer some homes and condos that are ground level or provide elevators for easy access.
Yes, we do offer a selection of pet-friendly accommodations for an additional non-refundable pet fee.
While beach equipment may be provided in some properties, it is not provided in every property. Beach equipment may be rented through several local vendors.

Parking at our rental properties is complimentary for guests occupying the unit. Free parking may be available at our check-in locations on a first-come, first-served basis for additional cars. Motor homes, boat trailers, travel trailers, Jet Skis, etc., are not allowed at the rental properties. There are local facilities that can provide parking for these vehicles.
Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. for condos, and 4:00 p.m. for houses. Check-out time is 10:00 a.m.
Early check-in and late check-out times may be requested but are not guaranteed. If a late check-out request is granted, the time will be extended to 12:00 p.m. and an additional fee will be charged as follows: Condominiums: $50 Homes: $100 Departures later than the allotted 12:00 p.m. check-out time will require a full day payment.
