Whit's End at Blue Gill Lane is the quintessential tranquil lake front retreat, offering three tastefully appointed bedrooms and three and a half baths, vaulted ceilings with skylights throughout the main living spaces and a series of sliding glass doors all opening out onto the glorious view of Lake Glenville, nature's ever changing, but always stunningly beautiful lake-scape. The light and roomy master bedroom is on the main level with private access to the deck and lake view. It features a king bed, flat screen TV and spacious bath with double sinks, and shower. The upper level houses a charming office loft with a queen size bed, fold out twin bed as well as a comfortable bedroom with King bed (convertible to two twin beds) and a newly refurbished full bath. There is a Playstation 2 up in the loft for your use. On the lower level there is a King bed along with a day bed that sleeps one and a full bath. For large groups, the living room leather sofa also converts to a Queen size bed. A casual dining area and cozy living room with a gas fireplace are beautifully housed in rustic paneled walls, windows and doors designed to maximize the view of the lake at any turn.The open deck offers outdoor dining options and is equipped with a gas grill. A beautiful gourmet kitchen features modern appliances and a cozy breakfast bar. You may find that the perfect place for absolute respite and relaxation is in the comfort of the red Adirondack chairs watching a spectacular sunset over the lake. Another lovely viewing spot is from your private dock, which is at the end of an easy sloping and lush private green space. Bring a glass of wine, relax and dangle your toes in the water. There is a canoe with personal flotation devices and paddles available. Whit’s End is conveniently located on the east side of Lake Glenville, close to the area's unique shops, breath taking waterfalls, hiking trails galore, and of course, fine dining. Summer is always grand on the lake. Make Whit's End your home in the mountains, whether for a weekend or a season.

Because all of our properties are individually owned, when you make a reservation for a specific accommodation we are obligated to keep your reservation for this same home. If you need additional room for more guests that would like to join you on your trip, you are welcome to call any of our vacation consultants at (866) 202-0723 to look at options for a 2nd accommodation that may be nearby your original choice. If you would like to change your choice of home altogether, we must follow the standard cancellation policy outlined in your terms and conditions and start a new reservation for your new choice.
No, we do not. However, we do offer some homes and condos that are ground level or provide elevators for easy access.
Yes, we do offer a selection of pet-friendly accommodations for an additional non-refundable pet fee.
While beach equipment may be provided in some properties, it is not provided in every property. Beach equipment may be rented through several local vendors.
• Two rolls of toilet paper per restroom • One box of tissue per restroom • One small facial/bath soap per restroom • One roll of paper towels in the kitchen • Seven dishwasher detergent pods • One small bottle of liquid dish soap • One pot scrub pad • Several trash bags per receptacle • Two to four appropriate laundry machine soap pods if the unit has a washer and dryer
Parking at our rental properties is complimentary for guests occupying the unit. Free parking may be available at our check-in locations on a first-come, first-served basis for additional cars. Motor homes, boat trailers, travel trailers, Jet Skis, etc., are not allowed at the rental properties. There are local facilities that can provide parking for these vehicles.
Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. for condos, and 4:00 p.m. for houses. Check-out time is 10:00 a.m.
Early check-in and late check-out times may be requested but are not guaranteed. If a late check-out request is granted, the time will be extended to 12:00 p.m. and an additional fee will be charged as follows: Condominiums: $50 Homes: $100 Departures later than the allotted 12:00 p.m. check-out time will require a full day payment.
