If you are looking for the quintessential mountain log cabin,then this rustic beauty, surrounded by lush landscaping, is for you. Situated just 6 miles from Main Street in Highlands, Mountain Chic allows you to get away from it all and still be close enough to enjoy the shopping, restaurants and events in Highlands. 

When you enter the home you will immediately feel the warmth of the rich cozy wood tones highlighted by lots of natural light coming from the large windows surrounding the stone wood-burning fireplace. The great room is stylishly appointed with comfortable seating, hardwood floors, and a flat screen TV. The two story tongue and groove ceilings make the room feel large and airy yet still intimate. There is a glass door leading out the deck with an outside wood-burning fireplace. What a great place to snuggle up and enjoy our cool mountain evenings The deck offers covered and open seating areas to accommodate soaking up the sun or staying cool in the shade. To the left of the great room you enter the elegant dining room with a table that will seat 6, under a stunning chandelier. There are french doors with screens leading out to the covered outdoor dining area. There is a grill outside as well. From the Dining Room you enter the modern fully equipped kitchen featuring granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances and an over sized farm sink. There is a laundry room with stacked washer and dryer off the kitchen. To the right of the great room is the large master bedroom with a queen size bed, small seating area, tongue and groove ceilings , wood beams and over sized french doors leading out to a covered porch with a seating area and ceiling fan. The adjoining master bathroom has a soaking tub / shower combination. Upstairs you will find two beautifully decorated guest bedrooms with vaulted ceilings, ceiling fans and seating areas. One has a four poster queen size bed and the other has two twin beds. There is a full bath on this level with a shower/tub combinations well.

Because all of our properties are individually owned, when you make a reservation for a specific accommodation we are obligated to keep your reservation for this same home. If you need additional room for more guests that would like to join you on your trip, you are welcome to call any of our vacation consultants at (866) 202-0723 to look at options for a 2nd accommodation that may be nearby your original choice. If you would like to change your choice of home altogether, we must follow the standard cancellation policy outlined in your terms and conditions and start a new reservation for your new choice.
No, we do not. However, we do offer some homes and condos that are ground level or provide elevators for easy access.
Yes, we do offer a selection of pet-friendly accommodations for an additional non-refundable pet fee.
While beach equipment may be provided in some properties, it is not provided in every property. Beach equipment may be rented through several local vendors.
• Two rolls of toilet paper per restroom • One box of tissue per restroom • One small facial/bath soap per restroom • One roll of paper towels in the kitchen • Seven dishwasher detergent pods • One small bottle of liquid dish soap • One pot scrub pad • Several trash bags per receptacle • Two to four appropriate laundry machine soap pods if the unit has a washer and dryer
Parking at our rental properties is complimentary for guests occupying the unit. Free parking may be available at our check-in locations on a first-come, first-served basis for additional cars. Motor homes, boat trailers, travel trailers, Jet Skis, etc., are not allowed at the rental properties. There are local facilities that can provide parking for these vehicles.
Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. for condos, and 4:00 p.m. for houses. Check-out time is 10:00 a.m.
Early check-in and late check-out times may be requested but are not guaranteed. If a late check-out request is granted, the time will be extended to 12:00 p.m. and an additional fee will be charged as follows: Condominiums: $50 Homes: $100 Departures later than the allotted 12:00 p.m. check-out time will require a full day payment.
